September 27, 2014 - LIVE CHW Award results

The 2013-2014 CHW Award Show opens with Matt Boyle to announce the first award of the night.  We get a vignette hyping each nominee:

Matt Rage

Eliza Raven

Xacutor

Agent X

Nathan Natural

Matt accepts the trophy and begins to thank the fans and CHW, before being cut off by Robb Banks, who attempts to steal it.  Matt assures Robb that one day he will win, before laying Robb out with the trophy. 

Now time for the CHW Golden Cookiesheet Award, Matt Boyle announces that Swede Savard will instead be handling the announcing duties.  Swede takes it to the podium and talks about how the winner of this award has helped CHW numerous times behind the scene.  He says that CHW wouldn't be around without this man.

WINNER: Ric Roberts

Matt Boyle again takes the podium, this time to announce wrestler of the year.  The nominees are:

Innovator 

Nikky Chance 

Miniak

Matt Rage

Ric Roberts

Innovator accepts his award, but gets into a verbal confrontation with Agent X before the camera cuts. 

Swede Savard and Innovator share a toast.  A little later Swede again shared a toast, but this time with Nikky Chance.  Swede introduces Nikky as his student and congratulated him on his success.  Moments later, Agent X interrupts the former Backyard Champion and a verbal confrontation breaks out.  Ric Roberts comes to Swede's defense, while Innovator backs up X.  Miniak joins the verbal brawl, but Swede silences them all.  Swede then threatens Nikky Chance, who spits back some words.  Agent X then stands up and threatens Swede before the camera cuts again.

Now time for Match of the Year, Matt Boyle shows us the clip.

Miniak and Nikky take the podium, where Nikky says he should be the only one to accept the award.  Miniak says she will be the bigger person and say it was an honor to have the match, while Nikky says it should be her honor to have faced him.  He says he should have been Wrestler of the Year, saying no one has the talent or looks like he does.  Miniak then adds that numerous people are more talented and look better than Nikky.  She says she is considering getting rid of the trophy, as she wasn't proud of the match.  Nikky says that in season 6, he might just stick the trophy to her head instead of shave it.  This catches a reaction from the room.  

Matt Boyle returns to an applause from the roster.  He says he has another award to give.  He says the award is for the Most Reliable Wrestler, and gives it to Xacutor.  Xacutor, however, is not present which brings forth a laugh from the CHW roster.
